on everyone else-

i have to remember that i don't have to do what everyone else is doing, how everyone else is doing, and when everyone else is doing whatever it is everyone is doing. i don't need to be better than everyone else-  I AM EVERYONE ELSE!

in turn, i don't have to experience love and life the way everyone else does because quite surely, my experience will be different because my heart is different. how freeing this epiphany is! no longer am i held captive by comparison, by blending in. i wasn't made to blend in, and experience has taught me it may very well be near impossible for me to force this round peg into that square hole. the same goes for you dear reader, you don't have to do what everyone else is doing, how they are doing whatever it is- silly, YOU ARE EVERYONE ELSE.

i saw those words on a friend's status and it really hit me; i am everyone else.
