on a life exploding-
there's a chapter in my memoir- the one i will someday unearth- and it reads: she spent her days accumulating a life, an expansive one. a life that remains at the point of utter explosion; any moment now it will burst open leaving behind a trail, beckoning those behind into a life lived breathlessly, wondrously.
this mountain weekend began with an attempt to mark off number seven on our bucket list: party an entire weekend straight. just three girls trying to pull all of the magic from this town and paint this summer season with memories- when looking back, only one word spoken will encompass the depth of this journey: wow. so we started the party thursday, dancing the night away and calling all attention. friday we continued the dancing and laughter and so as it is said that a life lived to the fullest is a contagion in itself, the magnetic pull of this carpe diem rendered said proverb true- at least for us it was. so strikingly true ( for an entire evening this mountain town transported me back to italy where i danced the night away and had the foreign experience a girl can only dream of ). there is a wonder in this high country, and we pulled the whole of it out in a weekend's time.
the saturday began with a hike, an evening dinner and following, a sunset. then more dancing, and now- now my fingers bleed joy in every letter. here are snapshots of moments stolen of a life at the point of explosion, a life that is expanding.
the bucket list belongs to us three. as we continue to collect experiences, calling us to think deeper, love greater, and learn better; we become more whole, increasing in understanding as we embody the essence of our femininity. this is what it means to be captivating-
what it means to be the pinnacle of creation.
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity
in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from
beginning to end. -Ecclesiastes 3:11

Oh my word, take me back to Boone summer-there is nothing like it!
