on love, the soundtrack of my summer-

the summer is closing ever so poetically. moving into my new flat, having my kindred home again and making new friendships. lately my meditations are one of solidarity. though there is always room for new friendships, i am more in tune with the ones i already possess, the ones i am sure to remain in time. a week with these girls and being loved on in ways you could never imagine, filled my soul from the inside out. i am so whole. we danced through these mountain streets at night, laughed, and remembered the promise of all that is to come. a lot is changing and that can be scary, but fear is something i have learnt to overcome with a bold force. i step into my destiny and welcome those in my life to do the same. nothing is for certain in these times of transition, so we must cling to what we know for sure. i love photos because they remind us that happiness is ever-present, even when we feel like we're slipping- i haven't felt that way in a while, but it is definitely a sensation i am familiar with.

 i have chosen love first, and i will forever and always choose love. 

 i choose to love my friends. 

 i choose to love my body.

 i choose to love my surroundings.
