a friend once told me she tries to make birthday's special for friends because it is the one day you can really show them how much they have impacted your life. her words have not escaped me. when i first heard them, i thought, i want to live my life like that too. yesterday was one of those special days for a friend. a new friend called, eri. let me tell you a bit about this sweet girl. she is on a four year exchange at my uni, from japan. eri speaks korean, japanese, english, and is now learning chinese. she possesses the sweetest most genuine spirit. yesterday was eri's 19th birthday, so we threw her a little surprise party.  here are some captured moments of that most magical evening.
