on the final week in uni-

as we know, all good things come to an end. though, endings are often beginnings, we just don't know it at the time. i said goodbye to a campus ministry that held me close for four years; to people who have prayed with and for me, who i have grown with and apart from. to think i will never see some of their faces again on this side of heaven after going four years where there wasn't a week i didn't see them. i consider the weight of all that has taken place and what it welcomes for the future. i am both within and without, mostly exhausted from feeling too much and wanting so much and a fear of not being enough.  this time in two weeks i will be a university graduate with a degree in international & comparative politics.
what the heck do i even do with that?
i know what i do with a degree like that. say screw it, i'm moving abroad to teach english to strangers in a foreign land where i am always a stranger, in more ways than one. i just love that.

  1. I'm so excited for your future, I'm more excited for your future than my own!
